Questions about an official Sutton County docket or court record must go to the office that keeps it. This private reference site cannot retrieve files or act for a court. The routes below distinguish the combined Sutton County & District Clerk from the Justice of the Peace and Sonora Municipal Court so a request reaches the right custodian.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull dockets, change or reset court dates, remove or seal cases, issue certified copies, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the clerk of court or the trial court directly.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Use the following routes for common Sutton County requests:

  • A docket sheet: run a case search through the county judicial-search map or re:SearchTX, then request the official record from the clerk
  • A court date or setting: check the court calendar, or confirm the setting with the clerk of court
  • Certified copies: file the current Judicial Records Request Form with the combined clerk; certified County Court records cannot be emailed
  • A specific case: look it up with a case search by party name or case number
  • Court records and case files: see court records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case

For county and district records, contact Pam Thorp, Sutton County & District Clerk, Sutton County Annex, 300 E Oak, Suite 3, Sonora, TX 76950, at 325-387-3815.
